Full-length manuscripts will be published in a special issue of Journal of Materials Science. The manuscripts are intended to represent the diversity and quality of contemporary research and development in materials science & engineering and related areas, in Israel and worldwide. Therefore, all manuscripts will go through a full independent and anonymous reviewing process. It should be emphasized that these are not conference proceedings, and only full manuscripts containing new data and a full discussion will be accepted!

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Instructions for Authors, and submitted electronically via the Editorial Manager of the Journal, which can be found at https://www.editorialmanager.com/jmsc/. In the beginning of the submission process, authors should choose IMEC2009 from the pull-down menu to select the Article Type. The deadline for manuscript submission is January 1, 2010. Since the Journal of Materials Science has agreed to our request to rapidly publish the accepted articles in a consolidated issue, January 1, 2010 will be the final date for manuscript submission.
