Instructions for Authors
The
International Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation publishes
original papers on all subjects relevant to nonlinear sciences and numerical
simulation.

Only
original contributions, which have not been previously published in any
language and are not being considered for publication elsewhere, should be
submitted. Four copies of the manuscript should be sent to Dr. Ji-Huan He, P.O. Box 471, College of
Science, Donghua University, 1882 Yan’an Xilu Road, Shanghai 2000051, China, or to any member of the editorial
board, with a statement that the paper has not been previously published and is
not being considered by any other journal. Papers must be submitted in English.
Manuscripts should be typed, double spaced, on A4 size paper, leaving ample
margins. To speed up the review process, we also accept e-manuscripts in WORD
or LaTex with permission from the editor. Once accepted for publication, the
final version of the manuscript must be submitted
with a diskette.
Symbols
for physical quantities should be in italic
(sloping) type. Mathematical operators and constants and symbols for units
should be in roman (upright) type. Vectors should be in bold italic type and
matrices in bold upright type.
All
illustrations and photographs should be clear, sharp, black and white prints,
with good contrast, on glossy paper. High quality computer-generated
laser-printed images on good
laser-quality paper are acceptable. The publisher cannot accept images on disk
at present.
Colour
illustrations are encouraged, but authors must cover the cost of US$ 1,000 per
page of colour printing.
Papers
are considered for publication on the understanding that they have not been
submitted to any other publisher. The submitted works must be original and not
previously published elsewhere. The copyright of papers accepted for
publication becomes the property of the publisher and reproduction of any part
of the paper elsewhere is not allowed without the permission of the copyright
holder. Authors who wish to reproduce illustrations which have already been
published elsewhere must obtain written permission from the copyright holder.
Authors should provide a release of copyright to Freund Publishing House Ltd.,
which should contain the title of the article, date, and signatures of all
authors.
A
paper accepted for publication in the International Journal of Nonlinear Sciences
and Numerical Simulation is subject to a voluntary page charge of
$30 per printed page. However publication does not depend on the payment of the
voluntary page charge. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Freund Publishing
House Ltd.’.
Twenty-five
reprints will be supplied free of charge to the primary author of each article.
Additional reprints can be ordered on a form available from the publisher.
The annual subscription price (4 issues)
is US $250.
