JOURNAL OF THE MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF
MATERIALS
AIMS AND SCOPE
The journal publishes articles in camera-ready format
on original research, short communications and reviews covering all modern
engineering materials: metals and alloys, ceramics and glass, polymers and
composite materials, wood, elastomers, etc. In
addition to regular issues, special issues on specific subjects are often
published. These special issues contain invited reviews by eminent scientists
in the field.
NOTES TO AUTHORS
Manuscripts should be submitted directly to the
editors.
Manuscripts should be typed double spaced. Body of
text should not exceed 16.5 (width) x 22 (length) cm.
All submissions must include a diskette copy formatted
for use with PCs, and in Word for Windows.
Photographs should be submitted in duplicate. Please
prepare these as glossy black and white copies with identification on the
reverse in pencil. Single copies of line drawings should be prepared in exact
size. All lettering should appear on the illustration, but figure captions and
all tables should be typed separately.
Placement of figures and tables in the text should be
indicated.
Please include a short abstract.
References should be indicated in the text by
consecutive numbers in slashes. The list of references should be typed in
numerical order at the end of the text.
All accepted manuscripts are subject to editing.
25 reprints will be provided free of charge. In the
case of articles submitted by more than one author, please indicate to whom the
reprints should be sent. A reprint order form is incorporated in the galley
proofs and should be returned together with the proofs.
Subscription rate for Volume 17 (2006): US$380 including airmail postage and handling charges
Published 6 times per year.
