ABSTRACT

An effect of the selected borates i.e. tri(hydroxybutyl), tri(hydroxyethylamine), tri[(3-chloro-2-hydroxy-1-propoxy)ethyl], tri[(3-chloro-2-hydroxy)-1,2-dimethylethyl] borates as well as the fillers: granulated rubber and a solid fraction of rye slops on the thermal properties of the rigid polyurethane – polyisocyanurate foams has been studied.

The best temperature resistance was observed in the cases when tri(hydroxybutyl) borate or the granulated rubber were added to the foam composition.

Key words: rigid polyurethane – polyisocyanurate foams, thermal resistance of polyurethanes, properties of foams
