INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

Manuscripts for the Journal of Polymer Engineering may be submitted to any of the editors, preferably to the author’s regional editor. Manuscripts should be submitted in triplicate to only one editor and include an electronic copy in Microsoft Word. Papers should be written in English and typed double-spaced throughout. A short Abstract (maximum length 200 words) is required for all papers. Authors should use the International System of Units and their standard abbreviations. Tables should be numbered and typed on separate pages. Figures must be numbered consecutively and attached separately. Photographs can be submitted as black-and-white glossy prints with proper identification and marked on the reverse side in pencil, including the required orientation in the text. Figure captions must be typed on a separate page. References must be numbered consecutively in the order of their appearance. They should be compiled at the end of the text and should use the style and abbreviations listed in Chemical Abstracts or the Journal of Polymer Engineering.

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will receive galley proofs. Corrected galley proofs must be returned to the publisher. Corresponding authors will receive free of charge one author copy and 25 reprints. Additional reprints can be purchased from the publisher.
